Ava Ansari is a third-wave Iranian immigrant, antidisciplinary social art practitioner. She works with her body, new technologies, language, and institutions as material to cultivate empathy, wisdom, and knowledge among distant communities. Ava is the founding director of Poetic Societies,  a multipresence multimedia nonprofit curatorial Agency and performance lab that produces culturally sensitive, cutting-edge social and performing arts entrepreneurship projects resulting in celebratory cross-cultural memories.
